Hi,
I'm using Windows Vista (Ultimate) with UAC enabled.
Vista keeps nagging me everytime I start PicPick because the publisher of the program is unknown.
Maybe you could get yourself a free codesign certificate (for example form CaCert) or create a self signed one and sign PicPick.exe?
Also I have some suggestions for the German translation that might improve usability because some words a bit - hm, lets say - interesting. Shall I post it here or send it to you by email?
Regards
Martin

Hello,
In regard to the annoying UAC alerts, you could try disabling the "Start Picpick at startup" option and create an scheduled task (not sure about the name, I use an spanish localization of Vista) as Administrator in your box. This task should be defined for running Picpick every time you power on your PC and the OS is loaded, so that you shouldn't receive those warnings any more. This is the way I solved that problem.
Regarding the translation, the spanish localization was questionable, and I made another one from scratch and sent it to Wiziple by email (you have the contact address in the developer section of this site). He added that translation from v.1.8.0.5 on. So, if you want, you could also try this way.
Regards.

Same problem here.
Vista always wants admin rights to start PicPick.
I like the program very much, but this is a big NoGo for me!
